英语报道应该这么写：新闻报道的结构一般分为标题、导语、主体、结语等四个部分；先是拟好一个标题、导语，接下来正文主要描述客观真实且完整，题目中的要点应全部写到，最后是结语。

新闻报道的格式

1，首先，在导语中写一个新闻中最有新闻价值的部分（新闻价值通俗来讲就是新闻中那些最突出，最新奇，最能吸引受众的部分），比如一场球赛刚刚结束，观众/读者/听众们最想知道的是结果，或者是某个球员的发挥情况，就先从这里写起。

其次，在报道主体中按照各个要素的重要程度，依次递减写下来，最后面的是最不重要的。同时注意，一个段落只写一个要素，不能一段到底。

因为这种格式不是符合发展的基本时间顺序，所以在写作时要尽量从受众的角度出发来构思，按受众对重要程度的认识来安排要素。因而需要长期的实践经验和宏观的对于受众的认识。

另一种是一个中外结合体——新华体。我们国家的新闻报道一般是遵循时间顺序，但是这种“讲故事”的写法已经不适合受众的阅读习惯（一般人没有时间听你讲长篇大论），所以“新华体”在吸收中外新闻报道之长的情况下诞生了。

其次，在第二段进一步具体阐述导语中的这个重要部分，形成支持，不至于使受众在接受时形成心理落差。因而，第二段实际上是一个过渡性段落。

再次，按照发展的时间顺序把“故事”讲下来。
